My Journey to a successful trading leader (and also as an investing leader)
After over three and half decades in the corporate world, where I held various management roles and led large organizations, I made a bold decision in early 2024: I left the corporate grind to pursue my passions for trading (and outdoors, tennis, travel) full-time. What followed has been an exhilarating journey of learning, growth, and, most importantly, success. In just one year after leaving my job, I secured an impressive 152% return on my investments, surpassing major benchmarks like the S&P 500, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, and virtually every other measure of market performance. I’m sharing a segment of my portfolio (below), showcasing results solely from day trading a few hours each week, excluding my long-term investments, 401Ks, dividends, options, and crypto holdings.
A note on long term investing: I also maintain a dedicated portfolio and brokerage accounts for long-term investments, managed with the objective of outperforming the SPY. Happy to share that list of top-tier stocks that are contributing to my portfolio’s success in surpassing other market indices.
